10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Where do I get my registration packet and parking pass if I do not receive it in the mail?
Registration packets will be available as you check in the morning of the fair. Parking passes will be available at the employer reception the evening before the fair, will be in the shuttle vans the day of the fair, at the special event parking area the day of the fair, and curbside at Squires Student Center the day of the fair. Please ask one of our Directions Career Fair organizers or volunteers.
Where should I park and unload when I first arrive the morning of the Directions Career Fair?
The Special Event Parking area is across from the duckpond, near the VT golf course. (Rt. 460 to Duckpond Drive). Follow the signs from 460 or from Squires Student Center. Shuttle vans will take you to the fair location and will transport your materials as well.
If you prefer to unload at Squires Student Center, student volunteers will be available curbside to unload your materials and take them to your booth. Please ask your hotel for directions to Squires Student Center. You will unload on "The Mall" side of Squires in front of the pilons at the War Memorial Chapel. Please do not unload on College Avenue.
What are the details for the Employer Reception held the evening before the fair?
What: Free reception for all employers
When: Thursday, February 14, 2008, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Location: The West Club - Cassell Coliseum
What if I do not attend the reception?
You will get all the employer information you will need, including parking passes, the morning of the fair.

What size are the booths?
You may register for either an 8-foot wide or 10-foot wide booth. Each booth is 4-feet deep and has a 6-foot table with two chairs and will be piped/draped on three sides.

Is electric power provided at the fair in individual booths?
YES, power will be provided to every booth, 110 volt duplex electrical outlets (at no extra charge).

Where can I unload my vehicle for the Directions Career Fair?
You will be able to unload on "The Mall" (Alumni Mall Drive) side of Squires Student Center in front of the pilons at the War Memorial Chapel.
What is the typical employer attire for the fair?
In the past, many recruiters dress in professional attire, but just as many prefer business casual. Students are encouraged to be dressed in business attire.
INTERVIEW SPACE:
All "free" interview rooms have been booked for Friday but rooms will be available for interviews on Saturday. If you wish to independently reserve and pay for a room in Squires on Friday, please contact the Event Planning Office.
